My project is to find out if traffic circles were helpful or bad in causing more traffic and accidents. I am going to go to the Flemington traffic circle where route 202 and 31 merge. I will go there at two different times of the day and measure the cars per hour. I will observe the traffic patterns and the way people drive through them. I will put all of my data together and come up with a conclusion.

My rational of the project is if traffic circles are negative we need to come up with an alternate way of bypassing the circles. I believe that traffic circles are negative because they create more traffic.
