Holocaust Inflamed
"Burn em all!" the man screamed at the mass stampede of humans, a torch held high in the air. Heads swiveled to meet the harsh determined voice and focused on the flickering flames of the torch. Others were subject to the glorious thoughts of destruction that fateful night because it was believed there was a good cause at hand. The verdict of destruction was placed upon the distribution of a particular book, that was said to contradict with the views of the church and in so doing was considered evil. After all, the priest had said that all evil was to be destroyed. So as the first torch alighted on the crooked pyramid pile of books, crisping the edges into coals and a host of orange and red sparks, no voices were heard in protest.
