Summary: This is a search through the background meaning of the word using 8 main sources.
Before I began researching my word, I thought it was the definition of all unexplained reactions going on in the universe. It appeared to be, to me, everything that man could not fathom or back up with modem science. But soon after I began, I found that this was not the case. Energy is indeed not unexplained. In fact, it's anything but that.

In my search, I encountered everything from quotes of the pope, to natural phenomena; some of these made sense, and some of them did not. I found about eight or nine sources, but definitely only used eight. I had some trouble deciding on the type of picture I would use for depiction of the word energy, but I had to just go with my feelings of what I thought the word most represented.
