Summary: Why guns should be banned from the general public of America.  
BANG, a boisterous noise that jolts fear and shock into us, a harbinger of a terrible occurrence. An instrument of war, the gun, brings such noises forth. Every year people with guns kill about 15,000 people, and half the homes the US possess a gun. 38,000 Americans die annually through suicides, shooting accidents, more than those who were killed in the Korean War. Still, scholars and influential people seem to find debatable topics to say, "Guns are good". Jeff Jacoby, author of the essay, Give Us More Guns, We'll Have Less Crime, argues that with more guns, we'll have less crimes. Logical thinking will have us think otherwise; the more guns we have, the more people will die by them.
