I work up early, on this sunny Thursday, with a sense of excitement in my blood. I was going to see what would become my new home.

We decided to make a picnic out of the trip s we packed a lunch of sandwiches and pop to eat in the small town of Palacios. As we entered the pleasant town, after a nice drive though the country, I first saw the massive school, that I knew Would become the setting of the horrific first day of my seventh grade year. As we drove further into this quite little town we stopped at a stoplight, not knowing it was a big event in Palacios, this being the only stoplight in the whole town.
