Guns are used in 16% of all crimes (NCPA). Many believe that guns should only be owned by the military. Others believe that more restrictions should be placed on the use and sale of firearms and ammunition, namely pistols. There have been many recent examples of the terrible things that firearms can cause when used improperly.

The most recent is the attacks of the snipers on America. I read in the October 26 edition of the Park Rapids Enterprise on Saturday that two men were arrested for the crime. They used high velocity rifles to shoot people for no reason. More than eleven innocent civilians were killed by these snipers (US Politics).
