E.B. Essayists are free to express themselves in any manner they favor. The essay writer is a "self-liberated man, sustained by the childish belief that everything he thinks about.is of general interest" (1). Such a mindset means that an essay writer has the freedom to choose forms, experiment, and satisfy his thirst for knowledge. White supports his essay with well-used syntax.
