Summary: A real Chinese work of classical literature, it is a fictionalized tale based on the historical events surrounding the fall of the Yin/Shang Dynasty and the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty. Many of the characters in the story are actual historical figures.
This topic deals with Asian History or should I say Chinese History. It also includes adventure and fanstasy. The author's name is Fujisaki Ryu and the title of the book is Soul Hunter or in Japanese is Senkaiden Houshin Engi.

    Our main character is Taikoubou which means, tai for "fickleness" and koubou for "rise and fall." But, Taikoubou's real name is Jiang Shang or Jiang Ziya, and his nickname is "Fei Xiong" or "Flying Bear." Now one shouldn't be fooled by his appearance because he's really about 80 years old! Not bad for 80, huh?  Once a human boy from the Kyou Clan, Taikoubou village was attacked by an army sent by Dakki. Him and his friends were away playing in a field at the time of the attack and were spared, but the soldiers soon found them and chased them. Taikoubou and his friends were chased to a river, and his friends crossed, but Taikoubou stood in the river and tried to fire a crossbow that he had found awhile earlier at one of...
