To write a story is easy. To write a good story isn't. No one begins as the greatest writer of our time. Even the one who is called that had worked many hours on perfecting his technique. However, this isn't something you can learn in school. Sure, you can get good ideas, but unless you have a talent for it to begin with, you'll never get anywhere. Then what is the best way to develop? Read, think and analyze. Set a goal. Decide what kind of a writer you'd like to be. Read the works of those, who are like that and try to find out what makes them so great. Build it into your own technique. Later, you can add your own ideas.
