A Galaxy Not So Far Away: A Comparison of Oliver Twist and Star Wars
Summary: This is an essay that compares the film series Star Wars with the book "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens, from the most obvious to surprising revelations.
They are two entirely different things. Star wars, the billion-dollar film series from LucasFilm, loved by millions, and has spawned endless fortunes in advertising. Then, there¡¦s Oliver Twist, Charles Dickens 19th Century novel of a boy who gains riches. The Novel is filled with tangents, and many films have been spawned by it. However, by looking closely, many similarities emerge, and soon two entirely different things become more or less of the same thing.
