Through the passing of time people have experimented with rockets, they all helped to build the successful modern day rocket. In 1812, rockets were introduced to the new world and used in wars. Now rockets were in use and quite effective during the battle of Bladensburg in 1814. Robert Geddard got interested in rockets in the time of 1898. When Robert was 16 He was so amazed by rockets he got to work and when Robert turned into an adult in 1926, he created something unique, the first liquid fueled rocket.Those rockets were used for war, another use for rockets is to send rockets containing cameras or humans into space .In 1969 the U.S sent a man into space.He came down with the first glimpse of planets and meteors . We were hoping to find life forms living on other planets, but the information he brought back was still useful.
