Summary: Essay discusses the pros and cons of gun control.
Gun Control became an issue, the day President Reagan and Jim Brady were shot. Now the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), legislature and most of the citizens support gun control. Even though there are more than 20,000 gun control laws, none of them are accepted are accepted by the citizens of the United States. When the ACLU supports gun control, the National Rifle Association (NRA) opposes gun control. The second amendment and the Sullivan law are some of the laws, which oppose gun control. Today gun control is one of the hottest issues of our time.

I support gun control and I think that only the police and the military should be able to carry guns. I support gun control because gun control would reduce crime, gun ownership is not an effective means of self-defense, and gun control is constitutional.
