Mark Twain is one of the most humorous writers of all time. He led an interesting life that inspired an interesting and extra-witty collection of literature. His life can be divided into three parts: his early life, his life in the west, and his life in Hartford. His most influential work of literature is The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn, one of the most debated books ever.

Mark Twain was born to the name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens in Florida, Missouri, on November 30, 1835. His parents' names were John Marshall Clemens and Jane Lampton Clemens. When Samuel was 4, his father moved the Clemens family to Hannibal, Missouri where Samuel was first introduced to the Mississippi River, the basis of many of his future works ("Twain" 291a).
