Lucille's Prospects

After divorcing her husband Lucille got a job working at The Den as a foodservice worker making $6.50 per hour. At this job Lucille will work forty-hours per week performing various duties from cashiering to working on the hot and sweaty Grill. While at the Den Lucille monthly take home pay will be $1040.00. Making $1040 per month Lucille will only be able to afford 29% of her income for rent or $301.25 per month. However, no where in Baltimore City or the surrounding counties were they any apartment available under $427 per month. After an exhausting search, Lucille was able to find an apartment community. The apartment community she decided upon is Whispering Woods Apartment. She choose this Apartment community because it was in a good area, close to good schools, and daycare facilities; but most important it was cheap and spacious at $468 per month not including utilities.
