School Vouchers

Thomas Jefferson once said that "to compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves is sinful and tyrannical" (ADL 2). School vouchers are sinful and tyrannical since they force taxpayers to give money to religion and do so much more to hurt America. I strongly believe that school vouchers should not be allowed in Connecticut because they violate the separation of church and state, will hurt public schools, and can limit the choice of the parents and students in which the vouchers are trying to help. I urge you to do your best to ensure that these horrible school vouchers do not become a part of Connecticut and destroy education.
