Summary: Essay consists of a discussion of the different types of martial arts.
I have been looking at the Martial Art styles. I live in Southeast Kansas. I'm trying to decide what style I want to go into. There is Karate, Jujitsu, Kung Fu, Ninjujitsu, and Mauy Thai. They all seem to be interesting types of Martial Arts.

Karate is the most common Martial Arts style known in my area. Karate is known as the blocking Martial Arts. In Karate, you focus on body stability, ability to keep your balance. Also, people go into Karate because in karate you have to be in good shape. Karate has the fewest fighting stances. In Karate you mostly throw straight punches and kicks. Meaning when you hit you do not roll your wrist or your ankle. Karate was what founded or the breaking point of many other types of Martial Arts.
