Two arms come at her. She feels the sting of the blow before she realizes what has happened. She is on the floor. Tears streaming down her face. He looks down and begins to cry. He struck the one he loves.

A tear trickles down her cheek. The tear settles on her collarbone. He apologizes profusely. She turns her head and walks out the door. She no longer wants to have anything to do with him. He has betrayed her. He was her true love and then in one single second he would no longer matter in her life. He chases her down the street, calls her name over and over again. She looks straight ahead, never flinching or turning back. He reaches her. She begins to quicken her pace. He reaches out to touch her arm but she has moved too quickly for him. He walks faster...
