L., G. & Co., and highly approving its character, would cheerfully and confidently recommend it as containing more matter and more advantages than any other with which we are acquainted; and considering the expense incurred, and the excellent manner of its mechanical execution, we believe it to be one of the cheapest works ever issued from the press.  We hope the publishers will be sustained by a liberal patronage, in their expensive and useful undertaking.  We should be pleased to learn that every family in the United States had procured a copy.
