McGLASHAN, C.F., b. Janesville, Wis., Aug. 12, 1847.  Crossed the plains to Calif, in 1854.  Editor Truckee Republican.  Specially interested in historic writing of the Calif, pioneers, etc.  Has made an interesting collection of relics of the Donner and other pioneer parties.
