Nikki McCray is one of the best female basketball players in the world. In 1995 she led the University of Tennessee Lady Vols (abbreviation for Volunteers) to the championship game of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Women's Basketball Tournament. McCray then joined the U.S. National Team and won a gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Continuing an incredible winning streak, she then joined the Columbus Quest of the American Basketball Association (ABL) and led her team to the first-ever ABL title, earning most valuable player honors along the way. McCray now is trying to work her magic with the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
