Point guard John Stockton is a conductor on the court. Teaming with power forward Karl Malone, Stockton directs the beautiful music made by the fast-break offense of the Utah Jazz. In 1995 Stockton established his name firmly in the record books when he broke Earvin "Magic" Johnson's record as the leading career assist man in National Basketball Association (NBA) history and the next year he also broke the career record for steals. In 1992 Stockton played on the greatest basketball team ever assembled, the "Dream Team," which won the gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Today, Stockton continues to chase the one goal he has not achieved in his caree: an NBA championship.
