Greg Maddux was recognized as the best pitcher in the National League when he won the Cy Young Award in 1992 playing for the Chicago Cubs. He proved he was the best again in 1993, 1994, and 1995, becoming the first pitcher in history to win four straight Cy Young Awards as a member of the Atlanta Braves. Recognized as the best pitcher in the major leagues, Maddux continued to shine for the winningest team of the 1990s and into the 2000s.
