Sports Stars on Betsy King
Betsy King always liked sports. From the time she was a child she played whatever game she could, with basketball being her favorite. A knee injury, however, forced King to make a career out of one of her least-favorite sports--golf. The rest is history, as King went on to earn induction into the Ladies' Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Hall of Fame in 1995. A fierce competitor on the course and a devoted Christian in her private life, King has worked hard throughout her life to keep her priorities straight.
