Take Me With You Overview

August Schroeder, a burned out science teacher from San Diego, California, heads out on a road trip in his RV. His destination is Yosemite National Park where he plans to scatter some ashes of his son who was killed in a car accident. When August's RV breaks down, he is towed by a mechanic who makes an odd request, that he take his two boys with him for the summer because he is going to jail for ninety days. August and the boys build a relationship of trust over their time together as it is revealed that their father is an alcoholic who does not care for the boys as he should. Their relationship continues when the boys get older and they take August on a road trip to show their appreciation for everything August did for them that one special summer.
