Shift (Silo Saga) Overview

“Shift” is a collection of three dystopian novels in the “Silo Saga” by Hugh Howey. The collection is comprised of “First Shift: Legacy,” “Second Shift: Order,” and “Third Shift: Pact.” All three novels span the course of several hundred years, beginning in the year 2049 and ending in the 2300s. The novels are set in massive silos that extend hundreds of miles beneath the earth in the State of Georgia. In the silos, thousands of human beings live their life, while the world above dies. "Shift" deals with important themes of Dystopianism, Survival, Human Nature, Technology, and the consideration of Good and Evil.
