Outline Overview
Outline, by Rachel Cusks, is narrated by Faye, a recently divorced writer and mother. Faye leaves her children in London and goes to Greece to teach a writing class. The narrative weaves together the stories of the people Faye meets during her time in Athens. Even though she makes an attempt to create and fill in the outline of her current life, she remains a woman who is afraid to venture into a world where she feels lost because of her difficulty in differentiating illusion from reality.
