On Immunity Overview

The birth of Eula Biss’ infant son launched her on a journey to learn everything she could about immunity, vaccines and childhood inoculations. There were so many diverse opinions at the time about the benefit, potential perils and overuse of childhood vaccinations that she became confused and needed to dig and find the answers herself. She had the benefit of having a physician father who had taught her long ago that there were good germs and bad germs. It was her mission that she would do her best to keep the bad germs away from her baby son and was determined to learn just how to do that.
