Malicroix Overview
Malicroix presents the recollections of Martial Megremut, who narrates in the first-person his experience inhabiting a desolate island in a remote portion of the Rhone river in France. He inherits the property from his maternal uncle, Cornelius Malicroix, who stipulates in his will that Martial must inhabit the house for a set period of time before it legally falls into his possession. During his stay Martial faces a number of trials both internal and external against mysterious forces and obscure motives. His experiences encompass themes of solitude, dreaming, and family character.
