June Iparis is a prodigy who is on the trail of the Republic’s most vexing foe, Daniel “Day” Wing. She pursues him into the plague-ridden slums, where he lives by his wits. When she brings him to justice, she finds that she might not have all the facts and that justice might just be a sham that protects those in power. Joining forces, Day and June must find a way to pursue the truth without getting killed by the people who have hidden it.
