“Going Home: New Orleans” is a free-verse poem by New Orleans-born poet Sheryl St. Germain. It was first published in 1989 in a short poetry chapbook, then later in the full-length collection Let it Be a Dark Roux in 2007. The poem takes a nostalgic look at the poet’s hometown.
