Early Morning Riser Overview

Katherine Heiny's novel, Early Morning Riser, is the story of Jane, a young teacher who moves to a small town and immediately falls in love with the local philanderer, Duncan. When Duncan makes it clear he does not plan to ever marry again, their romance comes to a dead end. Several years later, it is rekindled. Though Jane plans to be happy with their relationship as it is, circumstances and people change.
