Bird Box is Josh Malerman's tale of the post-apocalyptic world in which supernatural creatures slip into existence and end life as humans know it. Whenever someone sees one of these creatures, they go mad with bloodlust and kill all those around them and then commit suicide. Bird Box follows Malorie, a young woman who is pregnant, as she meets a group of fellow survivors, has her baby, and then attempts to flee to a shelter for survivors, all the while blindfolded.
