Legion of Flames

Later in 2001, when SYL wasn't touring, Jed and Byron got Devin Townsend to produce their second album Legion of Flames, released on his label Hevy Devy Records. It was a big step-up from their previous album, with song piss-takes such as "Gender of The Beast" (Number of The Beast, Iron Maiden), "Sodomanaz" (Go For a Soda, Kim Mitchell), and spoofing Metallica's "Master of Puppets" in the song "Evil Robots" with the line "Napster, Napster, where's the cash that I've been after?". The album also contained a straight-out cover of Joni Mitchell's "This Flight Tonight"

The New Album/Live DVD

Jed Simon has also said recently that he and Byron Stroud could possibly work out a new album after his current project Tenet [1]. A snippet of the live DVD has been posted on MySpace by the editor's Mild Concussion: [2] According to Hevydevyrecords.com Devin Townsend will be recording the third Zimmershole album after a new Darkest Hour album and doing the vocal productions for Soilwork and Himsa. This time for Century Media. [3](HDR NEWS March 2007) The new album is set for spring 2008 and the band said "[they] currently have 19 songs on the table for the new album and some tentative song titles include, 'The Dark Church of Whatever,' 'We Rule The Fucking Land,' Flight Of The Knight Bat' and 'Hair Doesn't Grow on Steel.' As you can see, it's all about having a good time with The Hole." [4]
