Hachiōji, Tokyo, Japan

Youki Kudoh[1] (工藤 夕貴 Kudō Yūki?, born January 17, 1971) is a Japanese actress and singer. Internationally, she is known for her role in the film Snow Falling on Cedars, in which she plays a Japanese migrant in love with an American man during World War II. She started out as a singer when she was 12 years old. She learned English and French by herself. She is the younger cousin of the late Minako Honda.
