"Work" is a R&B song written by American singer Kelly Rowland, Scott Storch, and Jason Boyd for Rowland's second studio album, Ms. Kelly (2007).

The song was originally intended to be the lead single, however the single "Like This" was chosen instead. The official Freemason's remix of "Work" was sent to UK radio stations on November 17, 2007 and the UK release date for the single has now been set as January 28, 2008.^[1]

Music video

A music video for "Work" was shot in July 2007.

The video was originally set to premiere on the September 10, 2007 episode of BET's Access Granted, along with "Ghetto", however, this did not materialize as there was confusion over which would be Rowland's next single, with "Work", "Comeback", and "Ghetto" having videos shot.

Her label originally set a date for October 22, 2007 for the UK release of "Work". The video finally premiered six months later on 5 December, 2007 on SoUrban.com, her official UK fansite.^[2]
