Sir William Fletcher Barrett (18441925) was an English physicist. He discovered Stalloy, a silicon-iron alloy used in electrical engineering. He also did research work on the divining rod, and helped found the Society for Psychical Research. Barrett was Professor of Physics at Dublin University.
