"Westside Story" is a single released by The Game from his album, The Documentary. It features 50 Cent. The song is The Game's debut release in the U.S. and peaked at #93 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. It was an airplay-only release, and thus no music video for the song was made. Rolling Stone's review of the album described this song as "a kind of L.A. version of "In da Club". Although The Game has stated that this song is a tribute to Tupac Shakur, there are no direct references to Tupac, but to his song, California Love, other references include Nate Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound (D.P.G.) and their song New York, Westside Connection, Michael Jackson and his album Thriller, DJ Pooh and Kool G Rap. 50 Cent was only singing the hook. There's a remix featuring Snoop Dogg singing the hook and a version with both Snoop and 50 Cent on it.
