The Township of Wellesley is the rural, north-western township of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. It encompasses about 276 square kilometres and its current population is approximately 10,100. The following communities, ordered by population, lie within the township:

2006 Ontario Municipal Election
The municipality, along with all others in Ontario, will have a local mayor and councillors elected on Monday, November 13, 2006 for four-year terms instead of the present three-year terms. Ross Kelterborn is defending his position as mayor against current Ward 3 councillor, Joe Nowak; Dusan Cizman is defending her Ward 4 seat, and Joyce Barker, Harold Hisey, and Jim Olender are vying for the Ward 3 vacancy.
