Watergate salad is a sweet-tasting dessert salad made from combining pistachio-flavoured instant pudding, whipped topping, crushed pineapple, and small marshmallows, although there are many slight variations with additional ingredients. Watergate salad is similar to ambrosia salad, and the names are sometimes used interchangeably.
