The Washington University School of Engineering is a part of Washington University in St. Louis. Founded in 1854, the engineering school is a world-class research institution occupying seven buildings on Washington University’s Danforth Campus. The Engineering School is about to embark upon the construction of three new facilities on the Danforth Campus, at the area bounded by Skinker Blvd, Brookings Dr, and Forest Park Parkway. These facilities will cost upwards of $100 million and be dedicated to different departments of the Engineering school; the complex should be completed by 2011.
