WLTB "Magic 101.7" is an Adult Contemporary radio station in Binghamton, NY. It also has a translator W273AB 102.5 FM in Owego, NY. It is owned by GM Broadcasting.
History
WLTB first signed on in 1972 as WEBO-FM, and it simulcasted WEBO-AM until the late 1970's, when it changed it's call letters to WWWT. It was then a Top-40 station based on ABC Networks, and it was known as 3WT. From 1985-1987, it was WQWT, a light AC station known as the "Light Q". In 1987, it became WQXT, "Q102" a CHR station, becoming adult rock until 1989. From 1989 to 1992, it changed formats to Oldies. In 1992, they changed the call sign again to WGRG, and played Adult Contemporary until 1993. In 1993, the Owego translator, W273AB 102.5 FM was added. From 1993-1996, it was CHR "Power 101". In 1996-1997, it was Alternative "Power 101". From 1997-1999 it was "Lite 101.7" playing Light AC. In 1998, the call sign was changed to the current one, WLTB. From 1999-2001 it was "Lite 101.7" Hot AC. Now it is "Magic 101.7" playing Adult Contemporary.
