Saint Vincent Madelgarus (born in Strépy, Belgium, year unknown, died 677 in Soignies, Belgium) was a Benedictine monk who established two monasteries in Hainaut : one at Hautmont (now in France) and the other at Soignies. Madelgarus was sent by Dagobert I to Ireland.
