Victor Sutherland

Victor Sutherland (born in Paducah, Kentucky on February 28, 1889 - died August 29, 1968) was an American actor.

Biography

Sutherland worked in motion pictures beginning in the 1910s through the 1950s when he also appeared on television, including several appearances in Perry Mason. He married actress Pearl White in 1907. They divorced in 1914, and he subsequently married stage and silent film actress Anne Hamilton (nee Pearl Watkins/Anne Kryn). Their daughter, Anne Victoria Sutherland, was born in 1925. Sutherland and Anne Hamilton divorced a few years later; he then married again and remained married until his death. After his death in 1968, Sutherland was interred in the Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. He was survived by his daughter and four grandchildren. He also appeared in the play Arsenic and Old Lace.
