Up is the tenth full-length computer-animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is scheduled for release on June 12, 2009. The film was revealed to be in production on June 8, 2007.[1][2] A Time article revealed that Pete Docter is directing and Bob Peterson is co-directing the feature.[3] According to Pete Docter in a Time interview, the film is a:

"coming-of-old-age story" about a seventy-something guy who lives in a house that "looks like your grandparents' house smelled." He befriends a clueless young Wilderness Ranger and gets into lots of altercations. Says Pixar: "Our hero travels the globe, fights beasts and villains and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon."[3]
