Several ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Hawk, after the hawk, a bird of prey related to the falcon family, noted for its swiftness and grace in flight.
- USS Hawk (IX-14), a converted yacht built as Hermione by Fleming & Ferguson, Paisley, Scotland, in 1891.
- USS Hawk (AM-133), a converted trawler built in 1937 as Gale.
- USS Hawk (AMS-17), launched as YMS-362 by Robert Jacob Inc. of City Island, New York, 22 May 1943.
- USS Hawk (AM-400), cancelled 12 August 1945
