Three ships of the United States Navy have been named Altair, after the first magnitude star in the constellation Aquila, in the northern Milky Way.
- The USS Altair (AD-11)
- The USS Altair (AK-257); later designated AKS-32.
- The USS Altair (AKR-291); previously designated AK-291.
