A traffic island in Germany
A traffic island can be a median strip, a strip in the middle of a road. It can also be a narrow strip between roads that intersect at an acute angle. Some traffic islands may serve as refuge islands for pedestrians. In parts of the United Kingdom, the term island is used as a synonym for roundabout. Traffic Island- A Finnish rock band whose single "Day Without Air" has been seen on IMF. Their album, "Enough is Enough," has been released in Finland but not yet in the United States. [1]
