Trace Gallagher (born 1961) is an American television news anchor for Fox News Channel.

Background

Known as Tracy Gallagher, he grew up in the ski resort of Mammoth Lakes, California, where he graduated from high school in 1979. Gallagher has a degree from the University of San Diego. Before his news career, Gallagher was a professional water ski performer at Marine World Africa USA in California and at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. Although a gifted athlete, he often hurt himself while performing front flips. The injuries moved Gallagher to try his hand at announcing ski shows.
