Tr is a digraph of the Latin alphabet, a combination of T + R.

In Vietnamese

In southern dialects of Vietnamese, tr is pronounced as a voiceless retroflex affricate (IPA: [ʈʂ]). In the northern dialects, tr is pronounced identically to ch, as a palatalized affricate ([tɕ]). Tr was formerly considered a distinct letter of the Vietnamese alphabet, but today is ordered as two letters, T + R.
