Timothy Sumner (Ph.D) is a member of the UK Dark Matter Collaboration, and professor at Imperial College London. Sumner's interests cover a wide range of astronomy-related fields, focusing particularly on particle physics. As a member of the UK Dark Matter Collaboration, he investigates evidence to prove the existence of galactic dark matter formally known as "Weakly Interacting Massive Particles" (WIMP). The Collaboration is one of four groups around the world looking for WIMPs.
